Areas of application
Boiler-Tec 10 is primarily utilised as an efficient oxygen scavenger and corrosion inhibitor where it is needed to ensure maximum operating conditions while protecting for dangerous pitting corrosion. It is formulated in accordance with latest steam boiler manufacturer requirements and meets all international legislation or requirements in terms of approvals.
Boiler-Tec 10 supports treatment programmes from Acti-Chem for every boiler type.
Function
Boiler-Tec 10 reacts chemically with oxygen under all conditions in feed water and boiler water. Dissolved oxygen in feed water is rapidly captured and chemically bound irreversibly to prevent it from entering the boiler. Even well functioning deaerators allow small amounts of damaging oxygen to be transferred to the steam boiler, however, by dosing Boiler-Tec 10 this effectively blocked.
Use also Boiler-Tec 10 for standby conservation of boilers, tanks etc. in order to prevent corrosion.
